Goodbye Lullaby Release date!

| Filed under: Music, News, Photo | Posted by: FANNY posted a news about the Goodbye Lullaby album!!! The album will be released by RCA Records on 8 March 2011. First single is called “What the Hell”. Other song tracks are called “Stop Standing There”, “Smile”, “Push”,  “Wish You Were Here”, “Goodbye”, “4 Real”, “Everybody Hurts”, “Remember When” and “Darlin'”. Can’t wait to hear it!!

First Single, “What the Hell,” Set For Worldwide Debut on Annual New Year’s Eve Special

December 7, 2010 – Two years in the making, singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne’s fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby, will be released by RCA Records on March 8, 2011. Lavigne will debut the first single “What the Hell” on New Year’s Eve during “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve.”

Lavigne worked with longtime collaborators Deryck Whibley, Evan Taubenfeld and Butch Walker, as well as songwriter/producer Max Martin. Lavigne continues to share her personal experiences through her writing and music, and Goodbye Lullaby is a further evolution of this, propelled by a more raw and organic sound.

Among its upbeat tracks are “What the Hell,” an unabashed embrace of fun and freedom, and “Stop Standing There,” fueled by an early-‘50s girl-group feel. The album runs the gamut of emotions: Lavigne expresses her gratitude for special people in her life in the rocker “Smile,” explores the dynamics of a relationship in “Push,” shows her vulnerable side in “Wish You Were Here,” and finds the strength to close one chapter of her life and move on to the next in the title track “Goodbye.”

Outside the recording studio, Lavigne is a successful entrepreneur who continues to design and direct her lifestyle apparel brand, Abbey Dawn, which has expanded its worldwide footprint and will be shipping to 50+ countries beginning this month. Along with her popular fragrance Black Star, she recently introduced Forbidden Rose and is launching a third fragrance in 2011. This September, Lavigne’s past charitable work also inspired her to create The Avril Lavigne Foundation. The Foundation works in partnership with leading charitable organizations to design and deliver programs, raise awareness, and mobilize support for children and youth living with serious illnesses or disabilities.

Avril Lavigne has made an indelible mark on the music community, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide, earning eight Grammy nominations and seven Canadian Juno Awards. She burst onto the music scene in 2002 with the critically acclaimed Let Go, featuring the smash singles “Sk8r Boi” and “Complicated.” Her 2004 release, Under My Skin, debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, as did her third album, The Best Damn Thing, which produced the irrepressible #1 single “Girlfriend” and logged more than 130 million views on YouTube! Lavigne also wrote the song “Alice” for Tim Burton’s critically acclaimed Disney Film Alice in Wonderland. For more information, visit

4th Record!

| Filed under: Music, News | Posted by: FANNY

Avril posted a blog on facebook 🙂 She talk about her 4th record!

Hey Everyone!

How’s it going?? So… I just wanted to fill you guys in…I’m done with my 4th record!!! Well, actually I have been done for a year… and now my record company have finally decided to release it. OMG..How nice! Thanks guys.

I have been dying to get back out on the road and do what I love the most… PLAY MUSIC. I know you guys have been waiting for a long time…..and so have I, but not by choice. I have been sitting with this record for a year now. It’s really special to me.  I have produced a couple tracks alone for the first time, written solo, with friends, I have pushed myself and I feel proud.

In saying all that, this has been a really difficult record for me to create and to release. Not only is this the most meaningful and special record I have written, it is sincere, honest and close to my heart. But for the first time I experienced a bunch of bureaucratic BS. People do their best work when they are doing what they want, love and is natural for them, not when you are forcing them to be something that they are not.

From the beginning of my career my message has always been to be yourself and stand up for what you believe in. Follow your heart.

My first single off this record is called: “What The Hell”. This song is the least personal song to me off this album. It’s a fun and funny anthem. It has a broad message about personal freedom. It is the most pop track on the record.

I am shooting the video in 2 weeks and it will be out in January. I have been extremely busy designing Abbey Dawn and taking the line internationally for the first time, establishing “The Avril Lavigne Foundation” and focusing on my personal happiness and health. Balance!

Love you guys!

xo Avril

Great News

| Filed under: Music, News | Posted by: FANNY
According to the news Avril will be touring in support of her upcoming fourth album but this is not confirm!
Pop fans should be in for a treat next year after Live Nation chairman Irving Azoff confirmed that 2011 will see brand new tours from Christina Aguilera and Avril Lavigne. Adding to the excitement is the inclusion of a number of classic rock acts who will also hit the road, such as Fleetwood Mac and Van Halen.
The news was broke when Azoff, who also doubles as Aguilera’s manager, spoke to USA Today about declines in touring revenue throughout 2010.
“Next year may improve, he said, as hitmakers who sat on the sidelines in 2010 plan major tours. He’s especially optimistic that the cast of the TV show Glee, Van Halen, Avril Lavigne, Christina Aguilera, and Fleetwood Mac will fill arenas and amphitheaters.” No other details have been revealed, but I’m going to speculate and say that Aguilera’s tour will not only promote her failed fourth album Bionic (roughly 237k has been sold in the US to date), but also the soundtrack to her new musical-movie Burlesque, which will contain several, all-new Christina recordings. While Aggie’s Bionic tour was initially scrapped due to poor sales, the powerhouse singer has proven her selling potential in the past, as her 2006 Back to Basics world tour managed to gross an impressive $90 million.
As for Lavigne, she’ll be touring in support of her upcoming fourth album, which currently has no release date but is expected some time within the first half of next year. It’ll be Avril’s first tour since 2008′s successful The Best Damn Tour, which unfortunately, never had an official gross calculated.
Avril’s ticket selling potential is going to rest with the sales of her next album, and Christina is going to have to hope that both Burlesque and it’s accompanying soundtrack are big hits if she wants to play anywhere larger than theaters for the US leg.
